White House Rejects Saudi Request on 9/11 Report

2. Have you figured out why the top levels of the FBI would stop their field agents from pursuing the investigation of the bin Ladens and the Saudi immigrants?  Hint: Who are Bush family business associates?

3. Have you figured out why the INS didn't expel the Saudis when they admitted that they were taking flight lessons on tourist visas?

4. Did you ever wonder how a 125 foot wide Boeing could fit through a 12 foot opening and burn up even its engines and still leave behind human tissue to be identified by its DNA?

5. Did you ever wonder why the autopsy records of those identified show no Arabic names?

6. Has it occurred to you that a delay of more than an hour before sending up fighters to intercept is a vast departure from normal FAA and NORAD procedures?

7. Does it seem normal or rational to you that even though he had been told that four commercial passenger jets had been hijacked and one had already struck the WTC in NY, that Bush would sit down with kids in an elementary school that is only 5 minutes from a busy international airport?

8. Or that the Secret Service would let him stay in such an exposed, vulnerable location even after a SECOND plane had hit the WTC?

9. Can you explain why people in the US Government would say that they would not have imagined such a use of hijacked aircraft when a report on just such a scenario had been published in 1998 and the Pentagon had practiced response to such an attack in October 2000?

10. Can you explain why the White House would expect the CIA to permit a statement in the President's State of the Union message that the CIA had already demanded be removed from a speech he made four months earlier?

U.S. HAD "STEADY STREAM" OF PRE-9/11 WARNINGS

U.S. intelligence agencies provided "a modest, but relatively steady stream" of intelligence information that terrorist attacks inside the country were a possibility, a congressional investigator told lawmakers Wednesday.

Eleanor Hill, staff director for the joint House-Senate inquiry into alleged intelligence failures ahead of the Sept. 11 attacks, released a 30-page statement Wednesday that found information on possible terrorist strikes continued to filter through the nation's intelligence system in the months directly before the attacks.

Some of that information specifically mentioned potential attacks by Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network -- the group the U.S. blames for the Sept. 11 strikes that killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

But, Hill's statement said, details were spotty and sources were often questionable.

[During this time orders from the highest levels of the FBI forced field agents to stop investigating the Arab flight students and INS remained porous even though known Islamist terrorists were crossing US borders with impunity.]

"They generally did not contain specific information as to where, when and how a terrorist attack might occur and generally are not corroborated by further information," Hill's statement said.

[On much flimsier intelligence the Bush Administration sent 150,000 American men and women into an illegal invasion of Iraq to find Weapons of Mass Destruction that weren't there to bring liberation and democracy that they did not deliver using radioactive munitions that contaminated most of our forces and a country of several million people.]

Hill's report details a July 2001 briefing for senior government officials that said a review of five months of intelligence information indicated "that [Bin Laden] will launch a significant attack against U.S. and/or Israeli interests in the coming weeks... The attack will be spectacular and designed to inflict mass casualties against U.S. facilities or interests."

"Attack preparations have been made. Attack will occur with little or no warning," it said.

Hill's report also said the National Security Agency, which monitors communications worldwide, reported at least 33 communications between May and July 2001 suggesting a "possible, imminent terrorist attack."

Such intelligence information dated back as far as 1998, Hill's report said, citing intelligence information in the fall of 1998 saying bin Laden's "next operation could possibly involve flying an aircraft loaded with explosives into a U.S. airport and detonating it" and a separate dispatch warned of a bin Laden plot involving aircraft in the New York City and Washington, D.C. areas.

A joint Congressional hearing on the possible intelligence failures heard testimony Tuesday from members of Sept. 11 victims' groups urging the investigation into what the government knew before the attacks continue.

"Our intelligence agencies suffered an utter collapse in their duties and responsibilities leading up to and on September 11th," Kristen Breitweiser, founder of the September 11th Advocates group told the committee. "And it goes without saying that the examination of the intelligence agencies by this committee does not detract, discount or dismantle the need for a more thorough examination of all of these other culpable parties."

Sen. Bob Graham (D-Fla.), chairman of the Senate intelligence committee, said the investigation was a "search for the truth, not to point fingers or to pin blame."

But Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) said he thought the Sept. 11 attacks indicated a gap in U.S. intelligence efforts.

"We know now that our inability to detect and prevent the Sept. 11 attacks was an intelligence failure of unprecedented magnitude," he said. "Some people who couldn't seem to utter the words 'intelligence failure' are now convinced of it."

[And yet the Bush Administration not only did not actively pursue a thorough investigation but obstructed such inquiries and pressured Congress to limit the scope of the inquiries. Elementary criminal investigation would identify those covering up and obstructing justice as high profile suspects in a crime. But not the Corporate News, the Democrats, the Republicans, nor a dumbed down public]

9/11 - ARE AMERICANS THE VICTIMS OF A HOAX?
The time has come to stop using the flag as a blindfold, to stop waving our guns and our gods at each other, to take a close look at the facts which have emerged from the attacks on the World Trade Towers and to recognize the very real possibility, indeed probability, that We The People are the victims of a gigantic and deadly hoax.
In a normal terrorist event, the terrorists cannot wait to take credit, in order to link the violence to the socio-political intent of the terrorist organization. Yet the prime suspect in the New York Towers case, ex(?) CIA asset Osama Bin Laden (whose brother is one of George W. Bush's Texas business partners), has issued only two statements regarding the September 11th attacks, and both of those are denials of any involvement.

Huge problems are emerging in the official view of events. It's known that the United States was planning an invasion of Afghanistan long before the attacks on the World Trade Towers. Indeed the attacks on the World Trade Towers perfectly fit the timetable of an invasion by October stated by US officials just last summer.

Bush Limits Investigation of Attack on America
President Bush personally asked Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle Tuesday to limit the congressional investigation into the events of September 11, congressional and White House sources told CNN.

The request was made at a private meeting with congressional leaders Tuesday morning. Sources said Bush initiated the conversation.

He asked that only the House and Senate intelligence committees look into the potential breakdowns among federal agencies that could have allowed the terrorist attacks to occur, rather than a broader inquiry that some lawmakers have proposed, the sources said.

Tuesday's discussion followed a rare call to Daschle from Vice President Dick Cheney last Friday to make the same request.

"The vice president expressed the concern that a review of what happened on September 11 would take resources and personnel away from the effort in the war on terrorism," Daschle told reporters.

But, Daschle said, he has not agreed to limit the investigation.

"I acknowledged that concern, and it is for that reason that the Intelligence Committee is going to begin this effort, trying to limit the scope and the overall review of what happened," said Daschle, D-South Dakota.

"But clearly, I think the American people are entitled to know what happened and why," he said.

Cheney met last week in the Capitol with the chairmen of the House and Senate intelligence committees and, according to a spokesman for Senate Intelligence Chairman Bob Graham, D-Florida, "agreed to cooperate with their effort."

The heads of both intelligence committees have been meeting to map out a way to hold a bipartisan House-Senate investigation and hearings.

They were discussing how the inquiry would proceed, including what would be made public, what would remain classified, and how broad the probe would be.

Graham's spokesman said the committees will review intelligence matters only.

"How ill prepared were we and why? We are looking towards the possibility of addressing systemic problems through legislation," said spokesman Paul Anderson.

Some Democrats, such as Sens. Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut and Robert Torricelli of New Jersey, have been calling for a broad inquiry looking at various federal government agencies beyond the intelligence community.

"We do not meet our responsibilities to the American people if we do not take an honest look at the federal government and all of its agencies and let the country know what went wrong," Torricelli said.

"The best assurance that there's not another terrorist attack on the United States is not simply to hire more federal agents or spend more money. It's to take an honest look at what went wrong. Who or what failed? There's an explanation owed to the American people," he said.

Although the president and vice president told Daschle they were worried a wide-reaching inquiry could distract from the government's war on terrorism, privately Democrats questioned why the White House feared a broader investigation to determine possible culpability.

"We will take a look at the allocation of resources. Ten thousand federal agents -- where were they? How many assets were used, and what signals were missed?" a Democratic senator told CNN.

Clues about why the USAF would accept orders to stand down on 9/11 are beginning to emerge

From the start, the Bush Administration has insisted that anything like the 'planes-as-weapons' scenario of 9-11 was 'unthinkable' before 9-11.

That's a Huge Lie.

On Sept. 11, 2001 they had a brand new counter-terror emergency response plan in place at the Pentagon for exactly that scenario, and had a counter-terror 'war game' set to begin on exactly that scenario that very morning in the nation's capitol.

These clues also fit another scenario that does not depend upon hijackers in the planes. For such a conspiracy to work it helps to keep the number of participants to a minimum. The official planning of the counter terrorism emergency response could have coincided with a much smaller clandestine group planning to piggy-back their real attack on the simulated attack.

This black op, probably supervised by Cheney, could have included the use of remote control Global Hawk technology which had already been successfully tested on take off, navigation and even landing of large aircraft. Boeing 757s and 767s already have automatic pilot computers which can be used for such a purpose.

This could also fit with Professor Kee Dewdney's Operation Pearl scenario of switching aircraft in the skies above military bases along the route.

Cheney's reaction to the leak and the subsequent lock down of all information about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed might have been either a false flag or a code name of the contact within the black op. Either way Cheney would be slamming doors and windows shut to keep the clandestine group in the shadows. There was no reason why "the bad guys had to have at least one person among them who had fooled U.S. intelligence into believing that he was 'one of us.'" He probably was "one of us." Just had a hidden agenda.
